This cute couple came here from Park Ridge just to enjoy beautiful downtown Long Grove. I asked Steve how long they have dated and he said, “About 41/2 to 5 years.” Don’t worry Steve as long as you get the exact day right she will love you and forgive you for your forgetfullness. Have a great holiday Vicky and Steve and we are open for your wedding date what ever it is.
Vicky just happens to work at the Village Tavern here in Long Grove. A little birdie told me she had hoped to see her name posted so we did just that and this week the free rose name is Vicky.
This Vicky lives in Palatine, has a 3-year-old daughter and engaged to the man of her dreams, Joey. We wish her well and hope someday we will be providing the flowers for her wedding.
This week the name for the free rose is “Toni” and we found our first Toni or to be exact Antoinette who happens to live in Homer Glen and hasn’t been out to Long Grove for over 15 years. She came with her posse Michelle, Brad, and Scott her nephew who happens to be stationed at Great Lakes Naval Center, one of my old duty stations. Hey Toni we hope it isn’t another 15 years before we see you again.
Well guys, today this cutie named Pam came in for her free rose and this girl is cute inside and out. She lives in Elmwood Pk, is an Executive Assistant and loves to line dance, but I cant tell you where or I would have to kill you. Let’s just say if you hang out in Oak Pk or Forest Pk you might run into her.
Pam works at the Village Tavern in beautiful downtown Long Grove. This wonderful woman has many duties at the tavern, but the one I like the most is she gets my lunch ready when I call it in. This is a woman with a perpetual smile and seems to have a huge heart. If you are in town one day stop in and say hello to Pam and tell her Anthony sent you.
Today we got to enjoy Pam who is a mother of two and VERY happily married. Today also happened to be her birth month. She claims although she was born today, she requires the entire month to celebrate. This is one peppy lady and for the few minutes that we got to enkjoy her company, it was clear this woman has never been called an introvert.
Stephanie came in with her boyfriend to buy some flowers for his mother. She was going to meet her for the first time and wanted to make a very nice impression. I have to say she seemed a bit nervous, but then again we have all been there. If you like the person you’re dating you want to make a nice impression because who knows…….I wish them both the best.

This Monica came to the Flower Shop to Get her free rose. She was with her family, on this perfect fall day of Oktoberfest 2010. She loves to draw and to be with her boys and husband. This truly was a Monica, with a great smile.
